Welcome Crew – Austin, TX Birth Photographer

I had the privilege of attending the birth of Loni and Ben’s first child last week.  I got the call Tuesday morning around 2:30 am.  When I arrived, Loni was birthing peacefully in bed and stayed in that frame of mind throughout her labor.  I was amazed at the strength she exhibited, especially since this was her first baby.  Loni’s birth was long and difficult, but she was strong throughout, even when she ended up with an emergency c-section almost 21 hours after I’d first arrived.  Here’s just an abbreviated version of her birth story (my favorites are the ones of her dance walking with her IV fluids – still smiling despite the nausea and slow progress!).

Slideshow to come.  Enjoy these for now!
